Elkezdtük felállítani az elektromos kerítést a héten. Nagy öröm volt nézni, ahogy Sári ló és a három fiatal juh/bárány a komposzthalmok között legeltek, még mindig élvezettel fogyaszthatják a szabadföldi friss füvet. Nagyon sok ágyást készítettünk elő a héten - talajlazítás, komposztszórás - hogy készen álljanak majd a tavaszi vetésre. Logan, Csaba és Dávid minden erejüket bevetették ebbe. Időközben Kata és Kati a fóliákban gyomlálták végig az ágyásokat - nagyon üdítő most a fóliákba benézni! Most, hogy jön a hideg, a következő feladat a belső fóliák felállítása lesz.
We set up some electric fencing at the beginning of this week. It was a pleasure to see Sári (ló) and our three young sheep grazing around the compost piles and still being able to enjoy outdoor grass in their diet. We have been pushing this week to get as many beds prepared for the winter as possible - cultivating the beds, spreading compost and broadforking to loosen the soil, in preparation for the winter sleep and to have beds ready to go in the spring. Logan, Csaba and Dávid really put their backs into it this week. Meanwhile Kati, Kata and Ica did a good job weeding and hoeing in the polytunnels. The next job is to get the frames in for the winter internal covers for the tunnels.
