This week we had 30 pupils for the whole week on a farming experience week in the garden. The students camped in the apple orchard and we worked in groups in the garden on different projects through the day, and then had discussions at the end of the day on food, farming, society and the environment. It was a tough week for the students but we got a lot of useful work done and hopefully provided lots of experience and food for thought. We are in the process of improving the entrance to our garden to create a suitable space for groups. We plan to have a garden open day at the end of the summer. We will keep you posted.
