A héten elkezdtük a második vetést, hogy szeptembertől legyen elegendő zöldségünk széles választékban. Mindig egy kihívás ilyenkor, nyár kellős közepén energiát találni az őszi ágyások előkészítéséhez és vetéséhez, mikor is inkább lelassulnánk és kipihennénk a tavaszi és a kora nyári kemény munkákat. Igaz, hogy most is sok segítséget kaptunk a francia önkéntesektől a héten, akik a Cyclonomia/Cargonomia keretében jönnek hozzánk. Hétfőn is jött egy pár segíteni. Mindig nagyon örülünk ezeknek a segítő kezeknek - nemcsak a fizikai munkáért, hanem a fenntartható életmódról való beszélgetésekért.
This week we started on our second sowings to ensure we have a steady supply of a good range of vegetables for September onwards. It is always a bit of a challenge to dig down into ourselves to find the energy in the middle of summer to prepare beds and make sowings for the autumn, when the natural urge is to slow down a bit and recover from the spring and early summer campaign. However, we were helped a lot again this week by our French friends who come as interns and volunteers to Cyclonomia/Cargonómia. We also had a couple volunteering for us on Monday. We are always grateful for this kind of support - not only for the physical labour, but for the opportunity to talk and exchange ideas and feel part of a movement of people who are working towards a sustainable, life-enhancing future.
