Virágzik a gazdaság, a méhecskék szorgosan dolgoznak. Gyönyörű ez a színkavalkád!
Rengeteg számunkra is a tennivaló is a kertben, nagy szerencse, hogy a megszokott csapatunkon kívűl a Cargonomia önkéntesei is segítettek nekünk szerdánként. Sajnos a kialakult helyzet miatt a francia önkéntesek/tanulók, akik a Cargonomián keresztül jöttek hozzánk a múlt szezonban, most nem tudnak jönni. Az idegenforgalom korlátozása miatt nem tudjuk, hogyan alakul majd az önkéntesek sorsa, de Pierre és Vito itt maradtak Magyarországon, és rendszeresen jönnek segíteni szerdánként. Nagyon szeretjük a nemzetközi hangulatot, amit hoznak magukkal. Köszönjük!
A kerti munka most főleg kapálásból, gyomlálásból ls kiültetésekből (saláta, zeller) áll. Illetve felavattuk a csepoegtető berendezést is a fóliasátrakban.
The farm is blooming, the bees are very busy. It's a spectacle!
We, ourselves are also full of activity at this time, and we are blessed with having some volunteer help from Cargonomia on Wednesdays, as well of course as the steady effort of our regular farm team. Unfortunately, due to the Corona virus, we don't have the pleasure of working with the French interns/students, who came via Cargonomia throughout the season last year. With foreign travel restrictions, we are not sure we will have the benefit of the French students this year, but Pierre and Vitó (and occasional friends) have remained in Hungary, and are coming regularly on a Wednesday to help in the garden. We really appreciate and enjoy the international atmosphere they bring.
The work in the garden right now centres around hoeing, and still planting out lettuce and celeriac. We also have to set up drip irrigation for the crops in the tunnels.
