Ez a nagy tervezések időszaka a kertben, ugyanakkor azon is dolgozunk, hogy hogyan lehet hatékonyabbá tenni a munkafolyamatokat. A héten Tekla és Logan egy kommunikációs műhelyt tartottak a kert dolgozóinak, hogy hogyan tudjuk az aktuális feladatok leosztását fejleszteni - ezt nagyon lelkesen fogadták.
A tavasz még igen messze, de januárban ilyenkor már elkezdjük a munkálatokat a melegágyással a tavaszi vetésekre felkészülve. Erről még fogunk bővebben is írni az elkövetkezendő hetekben. Ugyanis ez fenntarható melegágyás rendszerünk mindig egy izgalmas első lépés az új szezon hajnalán.
At this time of year a lot of planning work goes on in the garden, as well as trying to see how we can help our work processes to go better. This week Tekla and Logan ran a workshop for the garden team to see how we can improve on the communication of tasks in the garden - this was enthusiastically received.
Spring is still far away, but around this time in January we always start to set up our hotbed in the propagation tunnel, for starting up new sowings. We will report more on the progress of the hotbeds in the coming weeks, but it is always and exciting first step in the new season to start preparing our sustainable heating system.
