This week we managed to finish our "Community Roof" (all but a few last, finishing touches). We are creating a space at the entrance to the garden where we can host groups who come to visit. The aim is to provide a peaceful, attractive community space in the garden, where people can sit out of the hot sun or rain and get an introduction to what we are doing at Zsámboki Biokert. Our colleagues, volunteers and family has already been using the space for sleep in a hammock, children drawing, colleagues resting in between the jobs. We are already in love with it! Work has been slow on the roof as we have been fitting in the building alongside other routine work in the garden. Now the structure is standing and looking like it belongs in the space, so we very much plan to hold a couple of consumer community events in early September.
