In preparation for a school class farming experience week, when we will have 30 young people busily occupied in our gardens for the coming week, we have this week been trying to complete an open roof structure which will provide shelter from all weathers for a larger group. We hope to have the building finished so that we can use it as an outdoor kitchen for next week's school visit. It is always a challenge to get infrastructural work done when there are always so many regular gardening tasks in the garden - but it is always satisfying to see new developments and we want to infrastructure to be able to host groups more adequately.
