The last job of the year or first job of the new season is to make seed orders. This is a time consuming but enjoyable job. Shut away inside, dreaming of the new season we scan the seed catalogues (and now seed webshops) looking for old favourite varieties and interesting new varieties. This is where the optimistic side of farmers wins over. As we survey the seeds on offer we dream of how wonderful this coming season will be, and how successful all of our crops will be. :-)
